SEOUL — South Korean companies are taking part in a defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to promote the sale of locally-built weapons systems, industry and government sources said Sunday.

The biannual 2007 International Defenses Exhibition, held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the largest tri-service arms show in the Middle East, with 862 companies from 50 countries taking part in the five-day event that runs through Thursday. — Yonhap
